Specialty Classes
Q: What is a Specialty Class?
A: Each 30 minute specialty class has a unique focus that entails a program design created around a single piece of equipment, or created to focus on a certain part of the body using a variety of equipment. Q: How are the Specialty Classes different from Boot Camp?
A: Here are a couple of ways the Specialty Classes (equipment-specific) differ from our BEST! Me Boot Camp:
- With our Specialty Classes you have an opportunity to learn, practice, and master numerous exercises and techniques using a specific piece of equipment that you have chosen because you think it’s fun, or because you enjoy getting optimal results! Boot Camp you know you are going to have fun and get results, but you never know what to expect when it comes to equipment.
- Boot Camp uses a variety of equipment such as agility ladders, medicine balls, hurdles, resistance bands, bosu balls, etc. Specialty classes are designed around a single piece of specialty equipment or a specific area of the body.
- You won’t have the opportunity to use the majority of the specialty equipment in boot camp.
- Think of it like sport-specific training; baseball players work with trainers who design their fitness and performance program with a focused-effort on using exercises, techniques, and equipment that are specifically designed to improve their baseball performance. Our Specialty Classes do the same in that each program design was written with a focused-effort on helping you achieve optimized results using a single piece of equipment for a planned period of time.
- The Body-Zone Specialty Classes differ from Boot Camp in that they focus on a one specific area of the body, whereas in our BEST! Me Boot Camp the program design is total body!
